Don't we all?
No need for it, so much want!

So, after some research my used Brompton seems to be from 2002.
Thanks again to @infmz : I found the clip as a spare part in a local shop and put it on without any issues :)While I was able to service and adjust the headset to be wobble-free, I suspect that somewhere in the not too distant future i might want to change it to a threaded one with exchangeable cartridge bearings (e.g. Tange Falcon).
After some attention and cleaning the brakes are moving again and they're braking... sort of :D
Are there any recommended brakes to upgrade the 2002 stock ones?
Simply search for current Brompton ones, or something else?
(I had some tricolor Koolstop Brake pads that i put on already, so the pad quality is not the issue anymore...)
Theyre hella flexy (=caliper parts flex forwards under hard braking) and while I can live with them for flat riding, I'd like to have some good brakes... -

Awesome. Glad to hear it was simple.
I still have pre-2017 brakes on mine. The newer calipers should work, but require you to drill the fork hole from 6->8mm

You can literally just grab the caliper from above and encourage it to the right place!

It’s about 700 grams I recall

Thanks @coventry_eagle, @IrPOWERranger, @sbbohr. I’ll try an extender and a q rack and see how it goes. If the improved balance and steering don’t make a big enough impact then I’ll go for the Ti, as I already have other weight savers on the bike.

T line owners!
Steerer bolts should be at 7nM, not 5nM.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltwV4W0hWsc
Amey will be along in a minute to discuss the beta testing of expensive bikes with customers... -

We have two Brompton and one this one the spokes catch the gear chain when the bike is folded. I cannot work out why, any ideas anyone??
Three Bromptons here. One bike also has the spokes catch the gear chain when folded and I also can’t work out why or what the difference is either.

Super light saddle Vs regular one in terms of comfort?

Also Kojaks Vs Conti contact for speed and puncture resistance
-
• #15646
Conti's feel just as fast and have good puncture protection. Kojaks are trash in comparison. Very fast though and more suited to fair weather.
Not had a single puncture on the Conti Urbans, have had two pairs in 2+ years, sold one. I've lost count on how many the Kojaks get. Been on wet commutes where I've had to change the tube three times in quick succession - no glass/shards in the tyre casing either.

Great, thanks. That was my feeling

They had a few prototype cargo bikes, non folding, a few years back, interesting but really off the mark for styling / finishing

Has anyone had the pull handle for removing the battery from a bag on the electric Brompton snap off? Was removing the battery to change bags on wife's e-Brompton, only for the handle to snap off at the hinges. Four months old, so hopefully should be sorted under warranty?!
i want one
