I appreciate your input... legs on the cdale fork are skinnier then the original and steering input is more acute without feeling twitchy... A Roady buddy who happens to be a bike mechanic called it cute last time I met up with a local Vancity krew. I have a climb to work which results in a fast fun decent to look forward after shift. Pleased to relay that the faux hoods have softened up the ride by moving my grip closer, taking pressure off my palms.
I agree locked outside/not too fancy logic but sometimes it's nice to indulge yourself. I'm guilty of running my tri-spoke in sunny calm wind conditions. Do I commute with it? No. Here's my steel vigorelli ready to be ridden to work... Testing some faux hoods
