2005 Ford Focus, ULEZ compliant, £900

  • Yes I know it's a car (Booooo)

A lovely late Mk1 Ford focus- the best car ever according to this

We've done 30,000 miles in it and it's been brilliant but we've sadly outgrown it. It's our family car and as such has been kept well maintained.

    Right then, good bits:

    1. MOT until Jan
    2. 102,000 miles
    3. Air con
    4. Good tires (rears are nearly new Toyo’s, fronts are 70% Avons)
    5. Cambelt has over 2 years/50,000 miles before it's due
    6. Front discs and Pads about 3000 miles ago
    7. New exhaust about 2000 miles ago
    8. Sony headunit with Bluetooth. If you want to give me an extra £100 I’ll leave a nice compact under seat subwoofer in it too- not crazy bass, just subtle reinforcement.
    9. ULEZ compliant

    Less good bits:

    1. On certain low speed bumps you get a light clunk from front which was highlighted at the last MOT as being NSF ball joint.
    2. Occasional light rattle from OSR which is the anti-roll bar bush also advised at MOT time.
    3. Occasionally the speedo drops out which is the wiring on the gearbox speed sensor. Easy fix but I’ve never got round to doing it as it does it so rarely and comes back so quickly.
    4. Due an oil change in the next 1000 miles
    5. Various very minor bodywork things commensurate with age

    £900 please and it's in SE1 5SR

  • Ah soz it’s the 1.6 Zetec (petrol)

  • Nice.

  • Ah, do you know which zetec engine its? Is 97 or 96cc as a 05 car it could be either.

But even that doesn't identify it. Got a photo of the engine bay?
