It's not hard to plan a gpx correctly, but TCR do like to change things last moment.
I advised all my clients to download their offical gpx files for parcous and use them to navigate if in any doubt. Or run it on a second device simultaneously.
I think their Komoot sponsorship messes things up a bit too. They can't just give you the file, they have to do it through them, which adds more potential for errors - especially when combined with last minute changes.
