Those itsy bitsy parcours right at the end are very hard.

They often go through little side streets and up and down gratuitous small ramps, which really mess with your head.

In 2022 the finish parcours even went the wrong way down a one way street. What do you do? It's another decision you don't want to have to make when you just want to finish

It's not hard to plan a gpx correctly, but TCR do like to change things last moment.

I advised all my clients to download their offical gpx files for parcous and use them to navigate if in any doubt. Or run it on a second device simultaneously.

Sounds like good advice.

I think their Komoot sponsorship messes things up a bit too. They can't just give you the file, they have to do it through them, which adds more potential for errors - especially when combined with last minute changes.
