  • A friend dropped her bank card the other day and cunts were using it immediately for contactless stuff.

I don't use NFC on my phone so that wouldn't work. My phone and banking apps have fingerprint access requirements so they're not much use. In the unlikely event it was grabbed while unlocked I could use my partner's/mate's/cops/random's phone to log out of everything and/or adjust 2FA so they lose access to email.

I dunno, I'm still not seeing enough risk to make accessing my gmail harder on a daily basis.

If everyone didn't have stupid big phones they wouldn't feel the need to take them out of pockets and leave on tables in pubs and shit.

But what's the point of having a smartphone unless you're constantly on it?

  • I'm old enough that I remember how to have friends and talk or look around.

I mostly use my phone as 2FA while sat at home or mapping when I'm hammered and wake up in a random place in England.
