  • Jesus, this fork on one of the Pinion bullitts with the over engineered 27,5 conversions would basically be maximum german overthinking. But excited to see how silly a load can get.

Im still waiting to find the back half of a load and the front half of of a packster 80 to make something stupid from.

  • Sheeeeeeetttttt.... Where? 😍

  • Another happy Load 75 owner. By far the most fun to ride of all the box bikes we tried. Very practical also.

And you can charge the battery either on the bike or detached.

  • That sounds like a good plan.

  • More cargo bike, Berlin.
It's a winner, nice bikes, nice People, same building as my not really money making personal project.
@amey I basically have no idea about the bikes. I am at the check if this screw is 6nm stage.

  • What would a Load 75 Rohloff HS that is three years old and has seen heavy usage go for? £5k?

  • fuck off! NO.

  • @amey I basically have no idea about the bikes.

I mainly have questions on the rain cover lol

  • less than that?

  • I meant dont sell it!

  • I am not sure it is getting enough use to justify retention

  • tempting .. mainly for rohloff lol

  • not clearto me in brexit moneies but in euro bucks probably 4.5-6k depending on milage and accessories.

  • The accessories are also easy to knock up yourself, for a fraction of the cost

  • Not seeing them anywhere.

  • Does it have the whole kid setup? I paid 3.5k for a 200-mile-old 60 with kid setup and derailleur a year ago, and I think prices have softened. Bosch motors don’t seem phased by massive mileages though, a friend has one with 10k on and feels the same as mine.

I have an eBay alert for R+M still and there’s a lot that doesn’t seem to shift, I think as at higher prices people use cycle to work to spread payments.

  • Oh, I was hoping for 4k plus for mine when I come to sell it.

  • it does have the kid setup yes - three seats, foot well and canopy.

I am not sure on the mileage as I lost data for a bunch of rides, but probably around 5k km ~

The downsides are that some of the lacquer / coating has chipped off the fork, there are scratches on the side from where I low sided it once, and the zip on the canopy is damaged from the same incident. On the positive, it has full service history with fully charged.

Sounds like I would be lucky to get £3 - 4k, which makes selling less attractive.

  • Was yours Rohloff?

  • ye this is my current line of thinking

  • The team probably knows all about them.
I'll do a bit more working, and then I can answer everything/be happy to relay questions.
They also make really nice boxes and stuff.

  • The forks? Think they are brand new, insta post was only this month? Also small German company, fuck Brexit.

  • How else would you do it? Even stupid high end motorcycle dropouts are forged and use pinch bolts to secure the axle. This is superb. The fact that they got someone to mass produce is very impressive.

Won’t work on older Load 60/75’s though. They’re straight steerer.

  • I spoke to the guy via email today. They can do straight 1 1/8" steerer too. 😉

  • Not judging, @chiroshi said he found it confusing.
They come in straight steerer as confirmed above.
