  • Almost anything would work better than the stock ones. Having anodized stanchions already puts it in a good place. Can't get my head around the QR axle plus adapter system that it says they use.

  • Have you seen it? Can't find any info.
    Probably not want to force clients to get new front wheels, and dropouts look cast, so it's a cost saving.
    Edit: looks like a clamped insert?

  • No, but It looks like it's 2 piece. The ale pushes in from the right and locks in to some kind of octagonal interface on the left dropout, then a screw holds it in place and there's a pinch bolt on either side. Mega secure, but not sure what's the 'QR' feature.

  • How else would you do it? Even stupid high end motorcycle dropouts are forged and use pinch bolts to secure the axle. This is superb. The fact that they got someone to mass produce is very impressive.

    Won’t work on older Load 60/75’s though. They’re straight steerer.
