Load is in another league, just impossible to describe, crazy fun, very comfy and extremely agile in comparison.
Hard agree with this, it’s narrower so agile, fast and rear squish means it’s sure-footed. If it were a car it would be an Ariel Nomad.

How do you find the Load compared to the GSD?
With the Load, can you remove the battery to charge it? Or does it have to be charged on the bike?

I was lucky enough to get hold of this sweet little mini cargo a couple of days ago.
I've since made a couple of changes to it to personalise it a bit, but won't be doing anything too drastic as it's so original.
I put on a spare brooks c17 and a nice aero campag seatpost I had knocking about and also changed the swept bars for some chrome risers to make it fit a bit better.
I picked up a folding crate from the 'midl at Lidl' which I've adapted slightly to fit onto the front rack.
I've been lusting after a mini cargo for ages, really love the petit porters and Orbea Katu's but couldn't quite justify the cost of a new one so I was super stoked to get hold of this. it was only about 20 mins drive from my house to pick it up and it's in stunning condition considering it's from 2014, apparently having been purchased and then unridden for the first 9 years of its existence.

Jealous! Looks so good….how are you finding the coaster brake?
-
• #14159
i've not ridden it far yet but i've had bikes with coaster brakes before so i'm used to how they work.
i'll fit a front brake at some point (although currently it has the potential for barspins)
maybe i could get a hollow bolt and internally route the front brake bmx style? 🤔 -

Let me know if you ever want to sell...

Looks like some German engineer has heard the complaints about basic 20" suspension forks.
Any buyers here that want to try one?

Prices start at 499€. Even if it doesn't work better than the standard ones, it looks badass.

Oh and it seems like I am starting my late career as a bike mechanic working at a place that only sells Riese & Müller Cargo bikes!

Already plotting the meanest load ever...

Almost anything would work better than the stock ones. Having anodized stanchions already puts it in a good place. Can't get my head around the QR axle plus adapter system that it says they use.

I'd totally sling one on my Omnium for giggles, but the tapered steerer won't work. 🙁

Have you seen it? Can't find any info.
Probably not want to force clients to get new front wheels, and dropouts look cast, so it's a cost saving.
Edit: looks like a clamped insert?

No, but It looks like it's 2 piece. The ale pushes in from the right and locks in to some kind of octagonal interface on the left dropout, then a screw holds it in place and there's a pinch bolt on either side. Mega secure, but not sure what's the 'QR' feature.

yeah not much market for it in the UK from what I've found so far. I think I'm looking in the wrong places tho
Bosch Smart system gives me high torque, good battery management, ABS, GPS, alarm, display/phone as a key to unlock (bricking the motor if stolen) and over the air system updates.
But the UI is stupid. For example I can only see what gear I’m in on one out of the 9 screens - none of which are customisable. The last Bosch update gives me the ability to see how much CO2 I saved on my ride, which I don’t need at all. I swear it’s like the Bosch product owner was hired from LinkedIn.
