the driveway / farm track hits 17% and is 1/2 a mile long. thats a lot of digging and salting just to get a pint of milk, but i guess thats a lot of awd / 4x4 just to get a pint of milk a few times a year to be fair
managed to get my mums car, golf, along there yesterday and we didn't smash the sump
alternative motor would be a skoda superb / octavia estate which would be better for the planet and for 95% of the time would be fine.
My aunt and uncle live in the deep hills of West Virginia. The drive to their place is miles of uphill winding fire roads. Gets snowy in winter. Subarus have been fine for them for years.
