I use old tent guy lines. There seems to be a proliferation of abandoned tents in the nether regions of town. They rarely get guyed down and the cord is often still rolled up. They’re often in bright colours as a bonus.

eBay is normally where I get that kind of stuff. Although 1m tends to be about a tenth of the price of 100m so not necessarily worth it.

You can buy zipper pulls from aliexpress for next to nothing.

Does anyone have a lead for some (ideally) orange paracord/nylon cord around 2mm diameter, and that isn’t sold in 100m lengths? What to make some simple zipper pulls with thin cord for various items, but not sure where to start. Cheers!
