  • Selling on behalf of a neighbour who discovered this in a shed. Would love this to be fully restored or ridden as is (with a small amount of work) stem and seat post move freely and bearings all mint.

Very nice spec 531 Condor Italia serial number 7610 (1976)

Campagnolo Record groupset throughout, cranks look newer than the rest (not sure though) running tubs that don't hold air.

Really nice details on the Cinelli stem and campag seat post. Water bottle still has the tag on it so not sure this has even been ridden??

    SOLD

Let me know if I'm way off.

  • Its nice but in this market I'd say way off with the pitting.

  • Lovely

  • Wish I could find something like that in a shed.
Looks to be Nuovo Record groupset, not Chorus, tubular tyres.
    Lovely thing.
    Ambitious price,but you never know.
The pantographed black Nuovo Record seat post must be incredibly rare.
May be worth swapping it out for a silver Campagnolo seatpost and listing the current one separately on eBay.

    Good luck with the sale.

  • Thanks, yes I realised after listing it I had put chorus 😬

  • Nice old bike, unfortunately in that condition you're looking at a few hundred quid tops.

  • Would be interested in the seat post if you do swap it out please.

  • Buy the bike and get the seat post

  • Ha would rather buy the one in the link below and get a silver seat post tbh but sadly too small.
Have to say not seen one in black before but silver ones do turn up fairly frequently.

As others have said price is high especially for condition but looks lovely.

  • Nice but you're looking at less than half of that price.

  • As mentioned, N.Record groupo. Why not ask Condor what they would give for it, they probably have rich clients looking for one like this.

  • Black pedals so probably SL pedals rather than NR.

  • Like others have said, swap that seat post out, give it a good clean and I reckon that’d be worth £750 all day long. I think it’s lovely.

  • Condor don't do pre-owned. Also their customers are keenly aware of value for money. To be sure that's a lovely bike but it does need a lot of work — and most riders will find those brakes very heavy in use.

  • Alternative: strip everything off it, sell it, rattlecan it, grind off any bosses, put a spok on it.

  • That second bit is what I'm reckoning (no offence to the op you are a third party) but there's a few for sales that are 'what I think it's worth to me' and on that we all stick £1000s+ on most 'owned' bikes, but on this if you put the £750 cash on the table and then look at the bike its reality may hit, so take off the respray, new rims spokes wheel build, brake calipers and leavers and its not sitting that high.. ive always hated price bashing - but here they are wanting to sell

  • I mean that's heavily subjective on what you would do to the bike. I was hoping it would be a patina rebuild not a respray job. I get the price might be high but was going on the fact it had so many unused unique bits. Stem is hand stamped with Condor also.

Sadly I think it's destined to be stripped down and the frame used by me 😀

  • It's a pretty nice frame. I think if it was without the rusty bits £750 would be about right.

  • I recon you'll get the best form it.. but it would have been £750 for a rat bike frame ¡

  • Noooo! Please don’t do this.

  • £450 price drop bump, somebody save this bike.
