I bought this for the groupset and wheels
Forks are fine as are the headset and BB bearings (Shimano)
I bought it off someone who picked it up as an insurance write off and doesn’t know what happened to it but judging by the components it has not been in a crash - no scratches to levers, saddle edges, etc
The drive side seatstay is broken almost completely through - looks like something has maybe been dropped on it from above? It was described as the hanger had broken but it doesn’t have the hanger with it even in bits and I think the dropout might also need some work - the rear mech is pristine so again I can’t fathom what’s happened here as it’s not taken a hit form the side - my bet would be something heavy has been dropped on it from above and that’s also torn the hanger off as well as the stay damage
Target Composites have given me an indicative quote of £250 to repair it
Is it any use to anyone as a project?
I recon forks, headset and BB would be worth about £80-100 - so how about I offer the whole frame/forks/headset/bb for £50 posted from Cheshire?
