Bit of a shame, whatever replaces that paint job/kit is going to have to work very hard to beat it.
Also tba while the existing paint may not be perfect, a modern job isn’t going to be as durable so likely you’ll end up with cosmetic defects a few years down the line in any event. -
I might be interested if you bin the groupset, I know how to recycle it
