How muddy is Epping Forest?

All of UK is underwater. I told you if we Brexited I'd eat enough to sink this place.

I think if you stay north of the hunting lodge, it's better

lots of big streams running through the woods today

Any update after last weekend's warm weather? Got a couple of longer rides planned this weekend that would be easier on less knobbly tyres than my Senderos.

Dry and fairly good going in places, but still big sloppy bits

Red routes are dry now, but the single track is pretty cloggy when under tree cover

Impenetrable on all but the fire roads

Would be really nice if it stopped bloody raining

Singletrack status: needs a Hans Dampf on the front
Fire roads status: Gatorskins acceptable

Main trail in the forest is great. Getting there through Whipps Cross and Highams Park is a bit more problematic.

Anyone know how it is/might be tomorrow, especially the main paths (Main Path, Green Ride and that)?

Trying to convince someone to jump on a gravel ride who's eager, but wants no business with muddy puddles.
