Can we get back to the what constitutes a sport argument?
On TMS the other day, Alistair Cook defined a sport (as opposed to a past-time) as "you have to change footwear to play the sport".
Which I thought was pretty good.
But can it be considered a sport if you stop halfway through to eat your dinner?
I dunno, a mate of mine has special fishing shoes.

We spent a whole term in my philosophy class at Poly discussing this, the conclusion was that sport is an open ended concept. It’s always a fun conversation though.
