Looking to upgrade/roadify and lighten my allrounder a bit but unsure what route to take.
I just wish it to feel a bit snappier. I mostly ride on tarmac and occasionally some connecting gravel roads. Most of the time on 32-35mm slicks.
Plan is at so far a set of lighter carbon wheels (~1500g). But also tempted in going for some new hydraulic brakes. But that means new levers as well. That brings new issues with derailleur compability. And then there's 12s..
Would there be a big weight gain going for a new entry-level electric & hydraulic groupset over my current mechanical Sram Rival/Force one? I haven't really changed anything for 6 years and haven't kept up with the latest tech.
