I'd try and go for a decent ride - maybe an hour(?). Then Optimate it for 48hrs.
My hunch is it's fucked. But that should give you your best shot.
Are there any know issues like it requiring high cranking amps? My Triumph has this so as a workaround I put a manual button on the starter which has worked provided there is a half decent amount of juice.
