Glencoe was a highlight for me when I did it, with some lovely riding through the trossachs and around there. Having also ridden the West Coast it is incredible, but much harder to fit into a reasonable LEJOG. I did the great glen then the 'normal' (I think) route from Inverness and loved it all. In the south, gospel pass and the black mountains generally was a surprising highlight (only because I wasn't really expecting it to be so great) and I loved Exmoor - the levels - Cheddar gorge - Mendips etc too. Although, having just googled where Trowbridge is you may miss much of this out. I'm sure there are still really lovely roads you'd hit going that way.....
Super helpful thanks. I can probably get my mate in Trowbridge to pick me up and drop me off again the next day if I'll be missing all the good bits so I'll have a Google around
