  • The 12 was and is such an unusual car. Ugly beautiful. And that colour is special. I would swap my mk III Clio with it in a heartbeat. Do it dude

  • If you have the cash do it. But check it can keep it's historic status due to all the mods.

Check that the shell had all the rusty metal cut out and replaced. Then sealed.

Finally is it insurable with all those mods with out an engineers report or sva. How do you get an agreed valuation with so many mods?

DM me a number and I can talk you through stuff.

  • Yep it’s out there. The colour and the roof make it special. Yellow lights and it might of been on

  • Just imagine how tiny his penis must be to need an extension that big.

  • Thanks dude. Seems to have been built by someone who knows what’s what. I just don’t know with so much of
It being custom from other bits. Seller told me it’s a classic with a “modern engine” from a fuego?! If I didn’t live in London and it had to live on the road in E17 I might be tempted

  • If I had a fuego engine I would want it in a fuego. Now those are beauties

  • Yep they were cool. New for a ‘72 car not new as in modern though

  • I doubt any experts work on body work. Want proof as seen too many shit jobs by experts on fiats and lancias.

DVLA are being utter cunts at the mo clamping down on restomods. Currently having issues with DVLA on a project involving increasing an engines cc on the original engine block and going to electronic fuel injection and ignition. As well as transaxle mods to reduce transaxle losses. The parts ate original and just modded.

  • Modern and fuego.

12 came with a few cc engines how different is the 1.4 or 1.6 engine fitted to the 12 than to the fuego.

My Spanish alpins had the engine from a Renault 14 that had been gordini'd but the engine had been sold on and ended up with a Renault 5 1.4 that I fitted as Renault engines of that time were similar blocks so no engine brackets needed to be made up.

  • Yeah, the amount of different bits listed plus a roll back roof on something made in 2012 to a ‘72 made in France car made me think. You’d have to be good with a spanner which I’m not- to buy it.

  • Roof is not an issue, webasto roofs were aftermarket on lots of cars. No changed much in years.

  • Shit..don’t make me actually buy it…

  • Avoid mk1 5 as I hate them after doing a clutch change on one. Box is in front on the engine and no captive bolts.

Get a later gtx with the 1.7 and turbo it

  • If I had the spare cash I would.

Was supposed to look at Citroen ds at 4k that was supposed to be mechanical and structurally sound but tatty. But owner did want to allow me to get an inspection without a substantial deposit.

Now I'm trying to decide between an Audi A2 and and Alfa mito

Or the Bentley badges chrdler 300c diesel which I have used in the past but can't get over the Bentley badges and tatty interior tho 750...

  • Yeah not going there. Then we’d for sorting old a French is big though.
But sure a bad idea. Prices of Alpine GTA are tempting but know would be a terrible money pit with parts

  • Kind of what it comes down too be half sensible, would like a w124 coupe or estate ,
Probably end up with a citi go 🫤

  • Also don't listen to me as I have too many motorbike and car projects.

My cheap Carrera 997 will costs more in storage costs than purchase costs. Now understand why it had 4 keepers while fucked. How much is it worth if I put the engine together with second hand heads and pistons and con rods.

  • Haha fair enough. Step up from loads of bike frames with no idea what to do with. With storage rather than curb side in Walthamstow I would have kept my Dads ‘59 lotus elite but just couldn’t which I regret

  • Invisibility cloak lifted, the micra is outside! But not the jazz :(

  • It's more of a cultural thing over here, the guy probably has a massive boat. It must be a $250k+ rig. Ugly as sin tho', you could probably pull a semi trailer with it.

I had a chat with the owner, bogan boomer, voice like sandpaper, mullet and a rat tail. Profile fits. 🙃

  • What is this?

  • Honda hr-v first generation.
    Also comes with more doors.

  • 5, 10 & 12 in the last few days. Perfect

  • Looks like it has a couple of charcoal grills strapped to the side.

    What a crazy thing.
