It’s pretty crazy in some places, had a walk the bike the other day for part of my ride but that was due to horses churning up the ground and making it a swamp

I've had a kid and as a result I'm really out of touch with current models.
I've got a carbon cross bike I'd like to replace with (ideally) a steel frame & fork that can take racks for transporting the kid and also smash it round the gravel paths of north east London. Anyone got any recommendations?
