Oh, I get that, it's not my first rodeo haha. I rode out to Essex to catch approximately three seconds of the Tour of Britain last year.
I'm more talking about being able to see anything. There's a difference between standing at the side of the road soaking up the atmosphere and being at the back of a massive crowd. It's why I'm pondering where it's likely to be a bit thinner.
I'm over with my partner as we've got tickets to the QF of the men's football. We're also there when the men's road race is on but I'm trying to figure out the best place to watch from.
On the one hand, we're staying in Montmatre, so convenience. But on the other, it's probably going to be ten deep on the barriers around there and I also have little appetite for standing baking in the sun or dripping in the rain for 6 hours to see very little. Part of me thinks it would be better just to go out of the city and watch earlier in the day.
