Probably some muddling of Brompton Junction and Clapham Junction, innit? That aside, I wonder if any authorised dealer would/should be able to deal with battery cases to determine faults.

The battery diagnostics on Brompton suck. It’s a yes-no diagnosis, without giving much info as to the cause.
Brompton Junction might be better placed than premier distributors to diagnose issues, but unless they have tech they’re not sharing then it’s pretty much the same.
