I bloody knew it was hove town hall but couldn’t confirm on street view so decided I must have been confused

We bumped into the Porteur gravel group on an offroad ride last week. Massive group for a mid week ride. The weather probably helped but good to see them getting a good following

I was one of them! It was reasonably busy for the midweek, but it’s becoming the norm

15 for a midweek is impressive. A couple of our guys know a couple of yours. I'm always easy to spot in the group I'm the one with shiny legs in the day glow lycra. I guess your harder to spot there are lots of Gravelist long hair and beards in your group

I also like to make it tricky by switching up bikes and facial hair on almost a weekly basis. We must have met at some point but I’ve never made the on here connection

Julian from our lot has suggested a couple of times linking up with your group for a ride and post ride beers. He says your all a friendly bunch unfortunately not all of our lot are. We must have crossed paths at some point but I'm better at recognising bikes than faces most of the time.

Ah yeah I’ve ridden with Julian a bunch, he came along on my HMCC ride last week too. We’ll have to create a post ride convergence, the antisocials can go their own way

Yeah we'll have to do at least one before summers over 👍 had to put the lights on last Thursday for the ride home even with skipping the post ride beers

I'm loving that new Restrap stem bag I got there last Saturday. Keys, wallet, phone... saves me having to have anything on my back.

It's the wrong way for me but if I finish work at a reasonable time this evening I'll take the scenic route
