Recently swapped to a compact-ish bar on this one, OK or needs a bit more of a tweak?
It feels OK to ride but I'm not normally a compact bar kinda guy so may need more miles to get a proper feel for it.

Looks pretty good to me (maybe a touch more bdhu). And an awesome bike to boot.

Ta muchly for the replies, I'll do a few more miles on them to see how I go but it's been nagging me that they might need moving up a bit anyway from a comfort POV rather than aesthetics anyway.
My only worry is that it'll push the reach out to the levers on the drops a little more and I've only got short fingers!

Thanks, it's a f***in ridiculous bike really, it has no business being as good as it is both on and off road. My only quibble right from when I bought it was that I wished it had a 1 inch steerer as I'm a sucker for a quill and a bit of extra flex, so I've just bought a Rune Rufus Stone frame to build up and going to re-jig the build on the Singular to make it more off-road biased.

Me too man, that’s why I bought my Lightning Bolt.
The Rufus Stone looks pretty similar to a Romanceür/Nor’Easter, very nice. Keep us updated on the build!

Would you be able to get your preferred type of bars that would fit a quill stem? Last time I looked the choice seemed much more limited.

Thoughts? (Reusing old tape for now so ignore the loose wrap on the top of the handlebars - the tape is shot)

Lovely looking bike. I'd be inclined to say hoods a touch up, but just a touch

In a word, yes! You're right that it is more limited, but fortunately for me it's more limited to the kinds of bars I prefer, which is namely older style bars with a long reach, flatish ramps and maes type bend (or sometimes rando bars) and I'm quite fond of the Nitto Noodle as well.
Most of the decent bars of that nature are available with 25.4mm or 26.0mm clamps, if anything it's harder to find them in 31.8mm, if you want to use a modern stem you often need to use a shim.

Nice bike. I have the same shifters and found them more comfy a little bit more hu. Bars look spot on.

In for a quick check now that the pipe clamps are cinched down... Saddle height will have to be adjusted down depending how much further forward my riding position will move up

Have I had a stroke?
Have I gone back in time?
Is this the fixie equivalent of jimmy buffet? It’s 2010 somewhere? -

I see you're new to the skrtluv cinematic universe. Strap in and enjoy the ride!

I may have commented previously but this is a new thing.
Skrtluv I think the bike is too small

I disagree having only a fist full of seatpost above the top tube... My position is quite upright which makes riding through traffic easier enabling me to swivel my head without having neck pain.. may not be as aero as flexibility will allow but that's a minimal gain I'm willing to sacrifice for comfort.. stand over the top tube is at a minimum as well.

Also those
Faux hoods. Are they really fitted with a jubilee clip?
Thanks folks. I’ll wrap them over the weekend and report back.
