Going to drop into Lidl after work later - well keen on a set of those tools. Even more so after looking at the prices of the Wera ones in their stand at Goodwood at the weekend...

I think it's a pretty good set, the ratchet lever jammed a few times but other than that it's worked perfectly.

No tool set in my local (Southsea) sadly, so it looks like not a London-based shortage either. Did pick up a decent looking hand pump with a gauge on it and a folding multi-tool for £4.99 each though, so not a complete bust. Got some cookies too. Winner.

Likewise interested; going to try the Lidl down at the west end of OKR near the square-about this eve.

From what usually happens is that the the stuff gets moved to other areas where you have to route through to find stuff.

If you've got the time to ride to Hayling, their Lidl usually always has loads of the middle stuff, as it's not an overly popular store.

Nothing in Camberwell or Peckham apart from some Panniers. Looks like not much of the range had been stocked in the first place.

No luck with the tower bridge lidl either. Shame!

Looks like it was 11th-17th July so we are coming to the end of the cycling ‘event’. However I live next to a Lidl and didn’t see any of this over the past week so stock allocation must’ve been a bit scatty. Also fancied one of those wrench sets for sure.
