I saw this and it made me realise I've lost two of my favourite pairs of swimshorts!

The best pair I have are orlebar brown bulldog but the price is fairly steep - having said that they look like new, bought them in 2015 and worn them a ton - swimming, pool and sea, and lots of warm sunny days since then.

I am swimming a lot more at the moment so I bought a back up pair to keep the OB nicer for holidays and got a pair from lululemon - never previously somewhere I would shop but they fit the bill perfectly.

Could always just get a water polo box and stick it in there instead.

Anyone recommend a belt manufacturer other than Andersons?

Get a custom one from tightly_stitched on Instagram. Really nicely made, slightly more expensive than Andersons but quality is great

It’s so annoying, I turned the house upside down but know they’ll only reveal themselves once the new ones arrive. I had to wear some old skin tight Speedo shorts to the pool with my son at the weekend and the embarrassment was real. Why can’t kids just stay in the bloody water?!
In other news I’ve ordered the Finisterre 3/4 wetsuit so I can frolic with the webbed-feet locals…

Are you looking for similar stretchy woven style or leather? I’ve picked up quite a few Anderson’s belts in TK Maxx over the years, would never pay full whack.
My favourite is a Mulberry woven leather lucky eBay score.

Cheers, the Olebar Brown are a bit too fancy I think but the Lululemon’s look fine. I’ll probably still go with my tried and tested Patagonias though, I was happy enough before and there’s a few places doing them for £40.

I own these two pairs of shoes. Is there an acceptable sock you could wear with these in combination with shorts in summer? I am not going sockless, and I am not aiming for preppy cholo.

I wear those with hidden socks. You could wear them with white socks from uniqlo

6" chunky white socks is the only option and you know it.
