What time is it? Watches and horology

Five months and counting in Singapore- I don’t believe I will get a call.

I think I’m up to at least 18 months for a green OP36, and that’s with the place I bought previously.

I will get a Ploprof at some point, that one is very nice - love the strap.

Was at this sale at the weekend, this sold for strong money. Far beyond my reach, but even if rare the price seems surprising given condition.

Come on now, the ploprof looks like something you might wear to a steampunk convention.

It was practical in 1971. But not now. A 44mm gold Sea-Dweller is so much more relevant.

Yeah that seems unexpectedly strong. But if you get two collectors/dealers that really, really want it… Maybe it is just the rarity.

I am a big fan of the later 3466 which generally fetch more like 20-25k.

New ploprof is stunning, but that price tag feels hard to swallow, I would rather get a nice vintage instead

Mercedes hour hand looks like a progression of that.

Nice little 1943 Bulova a11 that was reissued to the British MOD that I’ve just picked up… for £25! Running nicely too!
