It really hasn't.

The constant bashing by pundits/the media in general. It's been non-stop.

Lot's of naval gazing and accurately describing the failings of the football in the press (they played pretty poorly for the most part. You don't ignore that). I and the people I watched games with had a fun time though. Zero toxicity! Horses for courses.

Canada did pretty well to get to the semis, was funny to see Jesse Marsch get so angry in that game.
