They fence off places with processionary oak caterpillars where you live? Here they just put up a sign saying watch out, these are nasty bastards and let you make your own call. Also, can't imagine the caterpillars recognise the authority of the local council people and may stray outside the taped areas.

Two things about my morning dog walk. Fucking "professional" dog walkers with 8-10 dogs in the park, half off lead with no control and then "general" dog walkers allowing their dogs to run off lead through this area.
