  • Honestly, wearing it these last couple of days I think I'm back to keeping it again. This strap might have made it my main summer watch (again). Just love the white dial / black hands execution.

  • Lovely, so classic.

  • What’s happening tomorrow?

  • Smh. I need to wind this thing. Sunday!

  • edit. What they said..

  • What’s happening tomorrow?

    Kerry v Armagh?

  • Up Kerry!

  • ciarrai abu!

And Dún na nGall on Sunday!

  • Cheers couldnt more pleased with it. It feels a bit like wearing something alive as I always have the urge to feed it sunlight.

  • Happy (late) Friday

  • Seastar Saturday…

Accidentally bought this from a local antiques/tat shop. I think I’d noticed it a few months ago but today it tickled my fancy enough to ask the price. Came with a Tissot box, whether it was the right one or not isn’t important.

For some reason a (more modern) Seastar has been in the back of my mind for years.

Been wearing it for a few hours and it hasn’t yet gained or lost significantly. The crown is likely a service centre part from decades ago.

Crystal has a crack along the vertical, and scratches like it was rubbed against a wall while walking. Perfect.

If I replace the crystal I’ll feel scared to scratch it, so I might keep it looking rough for now.

We also came away with a Casio W-59 but the other half immediately claimed it.

  • Oh yes, lovely

  • A friend has set up a watch swapping website

    https://www.swapwatch.uk/

  • I’ve got my eyes on new watch and thinking of selling my Studio Underd0g 02Series. This was released earlier this year limited to 25 pieces and only sold in person at the British Watch Makers Day. Only seen very light use and still in perfect condition. Looking for 950, the grey strap pictured isn’t included but it will come with the original green nato and leather strap. A beautiful dial with floating markers that can only be truly appreciated in person.

  • I think that’s the nicest version of those.

  • Would anyone like a tidy BN0118-04E, box etc, unused original strap, £200

Also a Seiko SNK809, needs regulating/degaussing or something... £60 ono

  • Nice.
Just goes to show the squeeze on the cost of living and how luxury goods are faring, wait times were several months or even a year not so long ago.

  • Alcaraz dripping the Gold Daytona in front of the Princess.

While the serfs look on on. 😅

  • Grats @Mick.

The Explorer I is an interesting case, I’m not really sure why that’s the model that has become more available. I had always thought it was pretty popular in recent years. Maybe they chose to put a lot of production capacity into it and now demand has fallen.
