A selection of pics. We bought the Honda PCX125 from a geezer in Dorking. While there he mentioned an R100RS he'd been given in lieu of services rendered in the prep and sale of a Rolls Royce. I agreed to swap my Yeti and a non-running Yam XT550 for it. Are we keeping up?
Yesterday the Beemer was delivered and is very nice. The chap had put a new starter, new tyres and a new rear master cylinder rebuild on the bike. I took it around the block and expected the ATE brakes to be shit and they were far worse than that. Anyway son passed his CBT last Sunday and today went to do some work at work on the scooter. I got up and expected to work on the Beemer brakes, but no. The scooter drive had stopped. I took a car he could proceed to work in and waited the 3 hours for recovery. I then took the casing off and found that the drive pulley was in multiple pieces and the new belt the chap had fitted was a bit fucked. So I never did get around to brakes but the chap said he'd pay for the parts for the scooter so that's about £150 we don't have to spend. Which is nice. My Sundays never turn out right.
