It's too early to call the election. Every few days we have a so-called defining moment of the campaign. Then the next one replaces it. There are four months to go, and we'll have lots more drama and craziness. There are so many maybes. Maybe the militia morons will take the shooting as their cue for anti-antifa action? There might be a ton more AR-15 stupidity.

That’s why the shooting has clinched this election for him.
More than showing strength, I think he’s posturing. He’s been taught his entire life, and especially since his apprentice years, that appearing as anything but strong and dominant is contemptible, so his reaction was out of fear of appearing weak. If he were truly strong, he would’ve done like Roosevelt, who was shot in the chest during a speech and not just grazed in an ear, and still decided to speak for another 50 mins before accepting medical help.
