Not able to fact check, but sounds impressive.
EDIT: OK, deleted an unverified screenshot from X.

Impressive, or "Impressive"?

It's partial clickbait, partial cod science. Only Pogacar and his performance team know what he actually did today.

I meant what I said upthread about doing a parachute roll to avoid breaking your collarbone. It's a useful skill for anyone. (I last used it when I was run over by a car.) When we fall our natural reaction is to put our arms straight out and land on our hands. This results in a very sudden stop with a big shock to the collarbone. If you can overcome the instinct to put your hands out the impact is shared by your hip and shoulder and you roll. Nothing broken. Just the odd bruise.

I used to skateboard and do this naturally but it always seems to end up with me cracking or bruising ribs.

Probably best it is kept that way tbh.

maybe this is the only way for pog to follow a nutritional strategy and not bonk

Right then only 1 second between lotty and lisa !

Apparently mr. Crisps Thrower has been arrested but was too drunk for questioning.

Getting the impression that Uno-X' only strategy is to repeatedly send some kid into the breakaway to get a bit of TV exposure. Kristoff had to fend for himself in the sprint finishes.

Vingo attack with 10km to go

• #50638
Vingo looks over his shoulder and then Pogacar is off into the distance.

Nice lead out from Jonas.

I've never cheered for Vigne but for the first time I was really hoping he'd get enough time back to keep it interesting. Fair play for trying though. Didn't have the team for it and Pog's form is sublime

Old man showing his naked butt. Classy.

I like both Pog and Vin but I didn’t like Pog’s claims that Vin was in the form of his life.
Felt pretty cheap -

Pog ride will mean a very tough time cut-off
-
• #50644
That was brutal! Vingegaard definitely not in the form of his life and while Pog has always been way more explosive, you can see that lack of zip in Jonas which reeks of disrupted preparation and less-than-ideal fitness. Having said that, it's mad how he would have coasted to a convincing Tour win under any other circumstance (ie any edition not featuring Pog on fire).
Also, is this stage going to be a DNF/time cut fail-fest?

Looks like it, unless they make an exception

I hope there was a tailwind

I was on a high from that Battle Royale until I read this thread.

Cav made it with a minute to spare.
-
• #50649
Almost two minutes, time cut was 53:22, he finished 51:35 down, he could've taken it a bit easier at the end there.

Remco even beat the record no?
Not sure these comparisons mean all that much
There's too much leniency in these cases. Not even a fine for the fat labrador.
