  • Fair enough. I've never been in an outdoor range that didn't have banked sides on the bottom sections.

I still think trying to analyse anything from accounts or how the audio sounds (which has been recorded, processed, and played back by your device) is a mugs game.

  • Exactly. It's a tradition that goes back to their foundations.

  • We do not currently have an identified motive, said Kevin Rojek, FBI Pittsburgh special agent in charge, at a briefing on Saturday night.

  • Hard to ascertain a motive when you've just shot the only person who can tell you the answer.

I could be in the FBI

  • Seeing as he practically invented the false truth, wouldn't it be incredibly ironic if everyone just told him it was fake and never happened

  • The grift is on

  • The shooter was an RWNJ and Trump had just disavowed Peoject 2025- proving he was just an another establishment shill controlled by Soros, so he had to die in order that the project would get a true leader.

    It’s blue on blue.

  • Alex Jones and Nick Fuentes both recently accused Trump of being a sell-out and controlled by the Jews due to his distancing himself from Project 2025, this guy was following that line of (if you’ll forgive me) reasoning

  • Melania’s called the shooter ‘a monster’. Tbf she must be fucking gutted.

  • At his poor aim....

  • I hate to say it, but what amazing strength Trump showed at a time when Biden keeps showing weakness. If this had happened to Biden his body would have snapped under the weight of the secret service people.

  • If had happened to Obama he would have busted out a sick breakdance and done the worm outta there

  • That’s why the shooting has clinched this election for him.

More than showing strength, I think he’s posturing. He’s been taught his entire life, and especially since his apprentice years, that appearing as anything but strong and dominant is contemptible, so his reaction was out of fear of appearing weak. If he were truly strong, he would’ve done like Roosevelt, who was shot in the chest during a speech and not just grazed in an ear, and still decided to speak for another 50 mins before accepting medical help.

“Ladies and gentlemen, I don't know whether you fully understand that I have just been shot, but it takes more than that to kill a Bull Moose.”
    Teddy Roosevelt

  • Fuck me, F1 presenter Alex Jones, the RNLI and long-failed 90s anti-virus Sonos on the case? This must be serious.

  • It's too early to call the election. Every few days we have a so-called defining moment of the campaign. Then the next one replaces it. There are four months to go, and we'll have lots more drama and craziness. There are so many maybes. Maybe the militia morons will take the shooting as their cue for anti-antifa action? There might be a ton more AR-15 stupidity.

  • Interestingly, I’m seeing a lot of conspiracy noise / nonsense on this, especially around the ignoring of the shooter etc. There’s a slight chance that this blows up against Trump if people think it’s some sort of false flag.

  • And shouted 'Who da man?'

  • Ha, finally gets in as an MP, leaves the country almost immediately. Really supporting the Clacton needs.

  • Instances of minor politicians traveling abroad and playing the international statesman is one of the things that infuriate me the most.

  • If only the shooter hadn’t bought factory ammo and spent a bit of time at the range and developing a home load and got some tighter groups he wouldn’t have missed.
Literally an inch to the right and the headlines would be very different.

  • One thing in the reporting today begs a question in my mind. The BBC news says that there was no ID on the gunman, and that he was identified via DNA. Does that mean that his (or one of his relatives?) DNA was is in the FBI/federal/state/police records because of a previous arrest/crime? Or is DNA collected more widely in the US than here in the UK?

  • Kinda wondered that myself.

  • .

  • Maybe they thought it was probably him because his car was nearby, and they got a DNA sample from his father to confirm it.
