Surprisingly, the man with blood leaking from suitcases containing two dead men he'd cut up and taken from Shepherds Bush to Clifton suspension bridge, has been arrested. It seemed like the perfect crime. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0xj9vlg763o

He should have just booked any Ryanair flight, as that would have ensured those suitcases got lost and were never found again

Choice.

I'm assuming he couldn't afford the baggage excess.

Someone just shot Trump’s ear off. Huh.

If the NYP is accurate on name, age, and location, the shooter appears to be a registered Republican

I suppose we can only hope for sepsis to step up and do it's job.

Republicans: the deep state have even infiltrated our party with bad actors. We must cleanse it etc.

So good I had to post it twice.

Ear looks fine to me.
I hate to be a conspiracy theorist but do blood capsule bullets exist.
The fist in the air seems like a giveaway to me. The security services would have let him be exposed to a second round.
This wreaks of a trump sympathy vote

I read that the bullet hit his teleprompter and a glass splinter or splinters caused his injury.
Whatever the truth, his reaction when he realised he was injured and then took evasive action, and the shock on his face when being let away, looked very genuine.

And isn’t this the main reason he shouldn’t be president again.
If the members of a sort of golf club bar vegan deli counter forum have these ideas it’s testiment to the type of person he’s widely regarded to be.
-
• #88389
Weren't members of the audience behind him hit instead? He seemed to have tilted his head just as it happened.
-

There is zero chance he or his closest lackies would let anyone point a rifle at his head, no matter the bullet or cartridge. This was a legit attempt.
If you’d like to warp it into a conspiracy theory, consider that the shooter could have been recluted by someone else whose role it was to put the weapon in place. The organiser could have messed with the sights or, if you really want to break out the tin foil hats, they could have loaded it with blanks and told trump to grab at his ear, and/or told a SS agent to slash his ear in the dogpile.

The ‘Murkins will do enough of that, can’t we stick to the facts on ‘ere?

He did tilt his head but not by much, and he didn’t turn it, just tilted. The shooter missed, and there’s a million possible reasons why: a sudden muscle twitch, bad aim, a poorly zeroed rifle, a gust of wind during the bullet’s flight path…
The theory that the shooter hit a teleprompter which splintered and hit trump is plausible. Heads of state usually have bullet and blast resistant (BBR) screens around them when they stand at podiums in public; perhaps former POTUS don’t get one due to the cost?

What kind of an idiot goes for a headshot
-
• #88394
^^ Because Trump wasn’t in a school?

A 5.56 round from an AR15 wouldn’t necessarily be lethal against a target wearing armour. Shooter must have assumed, correctly, that he’d really only get one good shot.
-
• #88396
An odd choice of weapon for sure.
But in America it seems everyone has an AR15 lying around. -
• #88397
The guy the BBC interviewed who apparently saw the shooter looks like an Ace Attorney character

Someone put this to man with arm around girlfriend meme.
Alternatively, out in September?
