There were people trying to get police to look at the guy on the roof to no avail.
This is feeding right into the maga Trump vs Deep State frenzy. -

I've seen.
The shooters bullet hit the glass screen of his Teleprompter, shattering it and it was that glass that hit him in the ear, the bullet went on to kill someone in the crowd behind Trump.
Which means Trump isn't being honest about being shot, if true.

Security failure?

From that period when Robbins made interesting movie after interesting movie; Bob Roberts is patronising shit though.
Trump is a poor man's Huey.

Listening to the audio, it took 15
Seconds from when the first shot rang out, to the shot which presumably killed the gunman. Their sharpshooters must’ve had a good idea where to lookShooter just been identified as a 20 year old Registered Republican (lol)

Thank fuck for that. Best thing that could happen to trump is that he gets assassinated by a deranged magtard.

It looks like the counter sniper team were aiming directly at the shooter, but let him get shots off first??
-
• #17991
I admit my thoughts went straight to “setup”.

Lee Harvey Oswald would’ve made that shot every time.
So would Ciaran Frawley.

How can you be that close with a rifle on a roof and have time to shoot?
His security detail must be huge, no? -
• #17994
Twitter bots do this all the time, (they were set up to auto reply on any comment that said "I wish I could get this on a t-shirt") for a while people would bait them with Disney images which would be more likely to get them shut down, because you don't mess with the mouse
-
• #17995
I've gone most of today not realising this had happened. Wow, so close. Maddening.

Why shouldn't a law abiding citizen be allowed to sit on a roof with a rifle? Sounds like commie talk to me!
What if there was a potential shooter on another roof top? As proved the only person who can stop a bad rooftop shooter with a gun is a good rooftop shooter with a gun.

Like everyone else, sounds suspicious. But if someone in the crowd did get shot and killed by accident, that's really terrible, even if they are a trump supporter.
Surely 'innocent bystander killed' should be more prominent that 'trump nearly shot'. Has trump even said anything about the person killed?

"Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured. It is incredible that such an act can take place in our country.
"Nothing is known at this time about the shooter, who is now dead. I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin.
"Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening. God Bless America!"

Ok, I’ll bite. What kind of rifle bullet makes a whizzing sound as it goes past your ear? When I shot rifles in cadets, sitting down in the bunker at the far end of the range, the bullets made a loud BANG as they flew overhead. It’s terrifying. They’re travelling faster than the speed of sound. He’d have jumped out of his skin, not heard a whizzing sound and reached for his ear.
A rocket launcher would have sorted it
