Lovely day riding from Cirencester to Abergavenny via the Severn bridge today. Mostly lovely lanes, very quiet, lots of ups and downs. Too many ups if anything. Do not, I repeat do not follow NCN42, it's made by a masocist, seeking every climb, the steeper the better, in the area.
Riding over the bridge was a real joy, and something I've wanted to for a while.
Wouldn't have minded being on a 'faster lighter' bike, but was ok.
