I was trying to think about parallels in motorcycles.
The trouble is for a bike it needs to be comparatively light, but for a cargobike it needs a high load capacity. Most smaller motorcycles are light so don't need heavy duty suspension, but even then the units weigh a fair bit.
Maybe go back to older designs?
