Nice pics. I didn't know until this weekend when talking with a Francophile that yellow chrysanthemums have a very specific meaning in France. They are shared on 1 November in memory of dead relatives as part of the festival of Toussaint (Allsaints festival)

Oh how interesting. I grew them as my grandad used to show them in competitions. My mum would always buy some when they auctioned them off at the end. Today is the ninth anniversary of my mum's death and would have been my grandad's birthday so I've picked some and put them in a vase.
