I thought they were carrion only and didn’t hunt their prey?

I assumed it was a kite as they have been around all day, but we do get buzzards, Peregrine falcons and I’m pretty sure I saw a bald eagle once :D
One second there was a pigeon the next a cloud of feathers and nothing else.
