Out of interest, how have you cleaned the black marks off them? Trying something similar with some RX4+s

@vthejk the ones on mine come off if i scratch it with my nail/microfibre rag with a lot of pressure. It isnt very stuck on
Did have a full polished set of tech 4 e4 not too long ago and ive used some silver jewellery polish paste to clean them once they got grubby, think ive still got the little tub in my toolbox- can take a pic when home

Noted, thanks! I tried some wet and dry paper but it does take some off the lovely CNC tooling marks off, so I gave up. Annoyingly I've now fitted them but they are devil to align, so I'm not taking them off anytime soon/

Yeah ive just gone back shimano xts, less faff

Ready to fit and ride. Levers have some marking. Rear caliper has a peely patch under the caliper. The should clean up quite nicely, all the black dots seem to be coming off with some effort
Pads are okay, bit of life left in them still
Front hose has a slight kink in it, dont affect the use
