  • I worked with the founders way back when when they were Creative Directors in the ad world. Really lovely guys. Great to see how well Vollebak has grown.
Agree on the copy, their emails are some of the longest I receive.
What items did you get? What’s the quality like? Interested to hear your real life use experience of how it wears and ages.

  • I like it

  • I had a look and thought that styling was toxic, but the clothes look nice.

  • Quality appears great - except the zip on the jacket is problematic- so stiff it requires two people to work it. But their customer service has been super prompt to resolve it.

Great fabrics, really clean stitching, elegant but functional styling.

    Copper jacket
    Kevlar belt
    Garbage jersey
    Planet earth shirt
    Equator trousers and shirt

  • I don't think you want the basic of the basics, but I did - if you've ever worn the elasticated waist single back pocket Polly cotton 'chef' trousers, these are them. all be it with a different weave and material front pockets (an almost useless string web waist pull) and 'better' stitching..

There are a load there that almost fit the bill but my demands were fat movement - mostly movement

  • Anyone keep an eye on people doing interesting stuff in men’s jewellery?

  • I don’t wear jewellery but Alec Doherty has some good looking stuff…

  • Also, I need a bit of help - what company makes straight cut chino type trousers and chore jackets made in America/preferably an American brand? Asking for my wife as she’s trying to source uniforms for a restaurant in New York…

I’d thought of dockers (after drakes being ruled out because of budget) and Ralph Lauren - anything else folk can think of?

  • Do RL make anything in the US? I'm surprised.

Wait for jb to wake up then at him.

Dickies is the first thing I think of in terms of USA workwear. Google says they still make some stuff in Texas.

  • Dickies, carhartt, ll bean, camber, ben davis

  • Engineered Garments is all Made in New York

  • Stan Ray still make some stuff in the U S of A.

  • Randy’s Garments? Bonus NYC based.

  • Left Field also in NYC

  • Save Khaki, Bill’s.

  • I had a pair of Stan Ray trousers. I got them for free because I complained at how badly made they were. Belt loops hanging off. They also faded and wore out in the crotch incredibly quickly. A shame because I really like the way they look!

  • My swimmers have gone AWOL, before I order the same (Patagonia Baggies I think), any one vouch for an alternative? Ta

Ps. Bonus points if they can make my cock look less shrivelled when I walk out of the sea.

  • Speedo budgie smugglers. Lean into it. I can’t wait to be on an Italian beach wearing mine

  • Made me think of dazzle camo.

    Or one of these?

Pretty sure there is an Australian brand of briefs that package it up to help with optics. Google is failing me though.

  • Jesus, do not want that in my cookies, delete delete delete.

I've just checked the weather in Norfolk and it's 10ºC colder for our break this year compared to last so now I'm looking at wetsuits too FFS.
