thanks everyone for help and explanation. I actually bought one of the speed bleeders after reading about issues bleeding the vfr clutch. I've tried the original bleed valve, a replacement and a speed bleeder. The issue seems to be I'm still getting bubbles leaving the system even with them closed?
I've even took the slave cylinder off and manually push the 'piston' back in - this was a internet forum suggestion to get rid of air at the master cylinder. didn't workI'm now waiting for a used slave cylinder off bay to see if that makes a difference...

There's something so very tempting about being able to buy the bike you had on your bedroom wall for less £3k

Bump the budget higher and come buy my CBR600F3.
I can’t remember which group was which. Most have gone a bit naff of late.

If it was MOT/tax exempt then I'd be very tempted. Had a precursory search of likely FB groups and my lord they're full of dross.

Wait, you buy a bike based on the quality of the Facebook bantz?

I have previously sold a car based on the quality of the Facebook bantz so it checks out...

There is also a mille for 800 with starter wire and solenoid issues. That is on FB marketplace

Thanks for the heads up. If I do get another motorcycle I'm keen for it to be tax/mot exempt or not a sportsbike. Basically something a bit different for me. If it comes in boxes then don't mind that either.

I wish I hadn't seen this....

They are sweet little bikes. That's screaming 750 quid though.

Shut up. Fingers in my ears....

You are a fucking tease.

That actually looks very interesting, thanks. Amazing what you can still get for £1k if you look hard enough. If it's ratty and in need of some love even better.

A selection of pics. We bought the Honda PCX125 from a geezer in Dorking. While there he mentioned an R100RS he'd been given in lieu of services rendered in the prep and sale of a Rolls Royce. I agreed to swap my Yeti and a non-running Yam XT550 for it. Are we keeping up?
Yesterday the Beemer was delivered and is very nice. The chap had put a new starter, new tyres and a new rear master cylinder rebuild on the bike. I took it around the block and expected the ATE brakes to be shit and they were far worse than that. Anyway son passed his CBT last Sunday and today went to do some work at work on the scooter. I got up and expected to work on the Beemer brakes, but no. The scooter drive had stopped. I took a car he could proceed to work in and waited the 3 hours for recovery. I then took the casing off and found that the drive pulley was in multiple pieces and the new belt the chap had fitted was a bit fucked. So I never did get around to brakes but the chap said he'd pay for the parts for the scooter so that's about £150 we don't have to spend. Which is nice. My Sundays never turn out right.

Definitely ready to sell the CBR600 now. I love it and it's an easy smooth ride, it's a do-it-all... but I just don't feel like riding like I did before. I don't have the need at the new house.
Put it up for sale locally at £1800, as most other adverts on FB are £2-2.5k, apart from one that's hanging and still at £1200.

Funny how riding styles/preferences change. I got rid of the big CC bike and now prefer to wring a lighter less screaming bike.
Good time to sell. Hope it goes to someone who appreciates it.

Also what’s the word on backpacks on here? Nothing massive. 20/25l.
Should I just Kreiga that shit? -

I have a Kriega 20. Top bit of kit.
Right now you’re saying about the unscrew etc it all seems unnecessarily complicated as you say.
I’d have thought just buy a little one-way-valve attached to tubing like most of us have for one-man bleeding on the fly. Cheap as chips and easy to store for if you’re stuck
