Garmin can already tell if you've crashed (mine did, but I have no numbers for it to call) so I'm sure the physics could be recorded and broadcast. Same tech would easily go into a helmet. There's probably research needed for speeds and direction of travel, etc. because not all impacts will cause concussion and presumably some whiplash events can cause concussion without the helmet or head suffering an impact but all of this could be a nice project for someone...
