• Have you washed it yet, has it shrunk at all?

  • Have washed mine a couple of times and it hasn't shrunk. I use the 20 C cycle on my machine because I don't trust the 30 C mode after a few merino socks shrunk. The Albion shirt might be more robust because it's a blend.

It's a very nice t-shirt. The fabric is quite thin and flow-y so it's easy to size up without looking baggy. Just wish they did more than one colour (navy?) so I could justify buying a second.

  • I've washed it about five times since owning, always at 30, with other stuff.

I let it dry flatish on a minky, though once on a washing line.

It's not shrunk, but i think (not confirmed) that it's got a bit longer, something I've found with all merino clothing tbh. By that I mean about a cm or two. Not sure if that's normal, or even that it's just returned to it's designed length after manufacture or something.

  • Just wish they did more than one colour (navy?)

Mine is the light green one, don't think they do that anymore though, as only the darker one on site, which I might get.

I've also got a rapha marino tee and a Spesh/Fjall one I got in a sale. They're both nice too, but don't feel as soft and lovely as the Albion one.

  • Just to throw a spanner in the works. I'm 5' 8" (on a good day), similar chest and 28" waist and also wear a medium t shirt which fits well. It did accidentally get thrown in the tumble dryer which probably shrank it a bit though.

  • This is the real world data we need. Thanks all

  • I never dry mine flat on a towel, for what it's worth. Do store it in a zipped pouch though to keep away the moths.

  • Consider me influenced, ordered the lightweight insulated jacket, hopefully fits under a shakedry for sweet roadie layering.

Used JOSH2024ALBION for 15% from Josh Ibbet

  • Did Albion drop the stuff sack for the lightweight insulated jacket? Keen if anyone has found something similar..

Albion supplies a little stuff sack that will be handy for those taking the jacket bikepacking.

  • Though I’m really enjoying the wear to my cycling cap, i am wondering if any new ones will be released at some point? Seems like they’ve not been on the site for ages.

Wonder if i should whack an iron repair patch where the old rubbery logo patch used to be or keep it like this

  • The small and x small sale is on at Albion.

  • The small and x small sale is on at Albion.

JOSH2024ALBION works too.. shame there are no Small left in the colours I'm after.

  • Give us a shout, and can add one back on - or are you still in London? We’ll be doing another repairs session at HHV in Aug at Wed track league (date tbc, to avoid clash with/complement Olympic track screenings)

  • This looks nice: https://www.albioncycling.com/products/womens-long-sleeve-ultra-jersey-burnt-orange

Anyone got one? Looking for something to replace an old Decathlon softshell - I don't really need any waterproof properties cos I rarely ride in proper rain, but this looks like a fairly nice winter jersey. The lightweight Zoa looks like overkill for my uses.

  • Maybe a sunglasses pouch would work?

  • Are any of the Pertex Shield jackets in large due anytime soon? Ideally the orange ones.

Also, +1 on the riding caps please :-)

  • Maybe a sunglasses pouch would work?

Exped XXS 1L drybag is working nicely, might try and find something more 'ultra' sometime, a smaller dyneema option from Wild Sky Gear or something.

  • I'm 95% sure the traverse jersey is the same material and thickness of the all road ls jersey, it's that this one has extra pockets and stuff. the LS jersey itself is great imo, it's my top choice when it's ls weather. like most clothes the fit doesn't suit everyone but it's tight but soft, long arms but easy to roll the cuffs under, durable. def more race than club fit

  • I’ll keep an eye on the instagram for the HHV date and pop by (:

  • LOL. Just saw the memo now and got excited. Should've known they only had hobbit sizes left.

  • Bristol ride next week

  • Any interest in a Men's Zoa Insulated Jacket (Blue, with orange lining), in a small. Brand new, got it in the recent sale also with a code, but was being slightly ambitious that it would fit. Happy to sell for the £130 it was on at, inc some suitably tracked postage.

If not, I shall just return!

This is gone gone gone now!

  • Where are you based?

  • Very much not london - Sheffield!

  • Hi all,

sample/studio sale tomorrow Wed 14th at HHV, plus scrapes-and-tears (free) repairs on any brand cyclewear, and take-away iron on patches if you want to DIY at home. @ojwithbits will have replacement patch for you :) Everyone else, come swingby for bargains, repairs, or just to say hi (I'm the tallish bloke who looks like my avatar).

Behind the scenes/local info is occasionally posted on here; https://www.instagram.com/albion.burner/
