    Not strictly true. Lots of reasons, like travelling with a bike in bits, adjustable, repairable etc etc.

  • I would rather have externally run hydro if travel packing was an issue. As for adustability and repair - I'd rather not do either, hence hydro being the only thing I'll run.

  • You can travel with (couplers are available), adjust (although they do that themselves as far as pads go) and repair hydros (massive failures might need harder to find in the wilderness parts, but they're generally more reliable), and they work better.
