  • Lovely. Really into the cross check especially.

  • Lovely. Really into the bridge club especially.

  • Yeah, the bridge club as a platform seem like a really fun an versatile bit of kit.

  • I'm really tempted by a Bridge club frameset atm. Would be nice with 700c tyres for commuting and occasionally 27.5x2.6 tyres for off-road trips

  • Got one up on classified atm

  • RIP Duncan Kennedy the Surly UK rep: https://www.lfgss.com/comments/17442774/

  • I've seen this all over social. Sad times. :(

  • Can't work out if I love it or hate it...

  • @JAH-tim would love this.

  • Stolen bike!!

I had to park my bike in a friend's garage in Bethnal Green yesterday because I had moved out of my house and had nowhere to store it for the next two months while I was in Thailand. He said the garage at his flat is pretty secure and nobody got their bike stolen there before and then I landed in Thailand I got a phone call from my friend saying my bike got stolen last night it was literally the same day I parked it there my guess is that this could have been a target stolen or something guys please keep an eye out in London, eBay, or Facebook Marketplace if you see this Surly special midnight anywhere don't hesitate to give me a shout or update in

  • Dura-ace on a Surly! Never seen that before.
    How is riding on Sicily?

  • Dura Ace turns anything into a great machine !
Mixed experience on Sicily roads. Some places were absolutely great. Others had way too much traffic and were not particularly beautiful. Others yet, deep in the countryside, would have been fantastic but I was attacked by dogs several times (frightening), and even encountered roaming cows lying on the road, all but blocking the way!

  • @pienol sweet build! Are those forks tapered? If so, what headset are you running?

  • No, 1 1/8 straight

  • Looks like Syracuse - lovely spot but I don't remember any particularly bike friendly routes into town!

  • Arh okay, it just has beefy shoulders. Cheers Kjlem

  • Anyone have a good solution for mounting an Edelux lamp on a surly 8 pack front rack?

  • Hey, I recognise this bike.

Ooh, I can play in this thread now. Look at my Surly...

    :D

  • Blue lug seem to go in for using bits of the 8 pack mounting hardware on one of the struts. Does mean that you need extra bits of mounting hardware, of course.

  • Ah damn that's very helpful, thank you!
I wonder if the 2.0 racks come with with extra hardware too. Probably not that curvy part.

  • I think the racks generally come with two sets of the curvy bits, a longer and a shorter to accomodate fork eyelets of varying heights.
