  • She is fucking hideous

  • She'll defect to Reform soon enough.

  • Following the new career path Nige has opened up for right wingers with no morals, which is the grift across the USA saying horrible shit that their evangelicals find quite tame but like to hear in a British accent.

  • Return of the "We lost because we weren't extreme enough" argument.

  • At this very moment the Tories are fucking up their internal election for 1922 committee with whips telling MPs they had til 6pm to vote whilst poll actually closed at 5.30
Mark Francois and various others couldn't vote.

  • Maybe finally there will be a realisation within the party that they really can't organise that piss-up in the brewery? Something the rest of us have known for years!

  • Jesus, I hadn't realised that Francois had kept his seat. reform came second in his constituency

  • Jesus, I hadn't realised that Francois had kept his seat. reform came second in his constituency

For about an hour on Friday morning he was the only Tory. Mog was being interviewed and was asked about the next leader and he said something along the lines of Marks the only one who’s kept his seat so far so it’s him.

  • Intentional or typo?

  • Robert Jenrick

    Total FC

  • Kemi Badenoch used first meeting of shadow cabinet to criticise Rishi Sunak's election campaign amid concerns colleagues are failing to grasp enormity of defeat

    • Badenoch said that Sunak's decision to call an early election without informing his Cabinet was a mistake and bordered on 'unconstitutional'

    • Badenoch said that instead of telling Cabinet ministers first Sunak had opted to inform a small group of colleagues, including his PPS Craig Williams who subsequently admitted placing a bet on the election date. She described Williams as a 'buffoon'

    • Badenoch said Sunak's decision to return early from D-Day commemorations was "disastrous" and had dominated the election campaign, adding that colleagues like Penny Mordaunt would still be MPs today if he had stayed longer in France.

    • She said many Tories were clearly still traumatised. She said Suella Braverman, former home secretary, appears to be having a 'very public' nervous breakdown

    • She said Sunak should stay on to ensure an orderly transition to his successor

    • She was said to be speaking for colleagues, particularly former ministers who had lost their seats. She spoke of the importance of shadow cabinet discussions not being leaked.

    pmsl.

  • She spoke of the importance of shadow cabinet discussions not being leaked

    Lol

  • Sunak just sitting there thinking of his favourite sandwich filling? Or did anyone else speak? She would be insufferable as leader, maybe that's what they want though.

  • She would be insufferable as leader

    It's what I want.

    #fingerscrossed

  • It's blue on blue!

  • Sunak delivering a decent speech 6 weeks too late

  • This was absolute gold. 10/10, no notes.

  • It was could get Kemi and Marina Hyde to join forces and write a column lambasting the Tory party we could open a gateway to the Shadow Realm

  • Late to this, I've been on me hols.

    THE TORIES HAVE FALLEN !!!!!

    REJOICE!!!!

You can have Rock Bottoms after having a Rock Bottom! Lets hope there's a few more of them to come.

I get the feeling the Sunak is actually trying to stay on ?????? in some form ???? WTACTUALF!!!

Suank the fuck Up that just keeps giving to Labour.

oh and just caught the end of Newsnight tonight, the woman in the pink suit, I don't know her name completely owned Cleverly, with "why are you here?"

A brilliant moment for me. Challenges the BBC's penchant for liking pointless right wing politicans too.

  • Been waiting years to post this in this thread…

  • Suank

Typo, or intentional shuffle to rhyme with wank?

  • Be careful what you wish for. She has the potential to be dangerously effective IMO and is mates with/groomed by Gove - who has serious media sway.

Much better to have someone damp and ineffective.

  • I get the feeling the Sunak is actually trying to stay on

There are two options; 1. Immediately quit and trigger a leadership election when the party is in full doom spiral, 2. Stay on to manage the transition to a new leader once the dust has settled.

The former is obviously a dick move.
