Really?
The new one looks like a BMC teammachine from 10 years ago.
The old one is kind of fugly, but at least it is Look fugly.

Snap. Old one is like an older Madone, new one has angles like every other aero or all-round road bike. Cue BMC Team and Time Machine, Merida Reacto and Scultura etc. The Mondrian makes it. Or do we call them Lidl colours now, thanks to Trek?

The white is nicer, but after owning my 695, it is not that practical or helping my mental state of OCD with a clean bike. Also with the new 795, it looks more sliver than white and it doesn’t contrast the Mondrian colours well compare to the black.
So the issue I have with both bikes are the following:
Old 795:
- Weight (which the Matt black would help to reduce but I will probably ask a painter to sand it down to make it glossy)
- There were some the BB and headset issues.
Seatpost has only have an offset and no inline option. - Stupid stem and handlebar design
New 795:
Looks like any other bike on the market aside from the iconic version
Silly stem and bar design but at least the cable is neater with this one compared to the old one.The good thing I do like with the new one is that it is a T47 BB than the press fit BB386 which maybe it is the design but all I hear with press fit is creaking…

You should post a warning before sharing an image like that.

What is this?

The new 795 overlaid on a BMC team machine.

Well played. Can you do the same with the Merida please XD?

Innovation is great, and Look are generally good at it, but if it works, makes sense that multiple brands would do it.

You can't post that without an explanation.

Damn, thought I nailed it.

Yeah I saw this just now, looks like I’ll be going with the new one…

From the photo it looks like the steerer has failed, I’m more surprised with how slim the profile of the steerer is. Probably over torqued or just basically failed.

Doesn't look great either way. The new Blade RS does look awesome though

Function over form (never thought I would be saying that…)

Can’t help but wish Look made the 695 in disc.
That’s a stem I love
-
• #3373
Yeah, unfortunately the 695 seems to be superseded by 785 for their climbing bike with a more relax geometry.
-
• #3374
I don't think the geometry on the 785 RS is that relaxed (not sure about the new one) - same-ish angles as the 795, slightly longer, but head tube is higher.
I haven't really bonded with my 785 huez like I did with the 565, and not sold on disc brakes on a road bike (except in the wet). Think I'd prefer a 695.

New gen 100%. Last gen seat tube is awful.
