Is that some sort of aero rear mudguard on the Cooper he is selling (too cheap?)
-
• #68111
Was wondering what that monstrosity is too
-
• #68113
That's weird. I used to work for Buzzbike, a bike subscription company. The first bikes they had were Cooper made and had that ridiculous (and incredibly heavy) mudguard. Here's a photo. I wonder if Cooper sold them under their own brand name or if that's a rebadged ex-Buzzbike.

I wouldn't say £140 is underpriced if it is an old Buzzbike. They're decent enough frames but pretty cheap components otherwise and it's probably had a fairly hard life.

• #68115
Ah, I just assumed it was a fairly high end Ron Cooper?
-
• #68116
I have to admit, it was before my time that Buzzbike were using Coopers. When I was there it was mass produced Taiwanese gas pipe frames. I honestly couldn't tell you too much about them but they were seemingly decent quality with cheap but reliable components. That being said, a single crap photo and listing it as a 58 when it's clearly much smaller (it looks similar to the Buzzbikes, if not identical and those were 52s) is a bit suspicious!

Witcomb frame currently at £15 6 hours to go. Could be a decent bargain

He is 100% dodgy - This guy was selling one of my bikes on facebook market place (under diff name but had that same rossini and loads of sega stuff).
I managed to steal it back but the flat I collected it from was like a chop shop of bikes - so many it was mental. Reported it to the police but doubt they did FA.He even had a curly hetchins...

I managed to steal it back
please elaborate

I saw it on FB market place, arranged to view it. Confirmed it was indeed my stolen bike, then asked to take it for a test ride and just rode it the whole way home. Sent the guy a text to tell him I was reclaiming it and it was stolen and then blocked his number. It was all surprisingly easy.

hahaha! amazing

I know quite a few people who have done similar things - definitely worth at least attempting if you find your stolen bike online.

Is the flat near Shoreditch Park by any chance?
My colleague has a neighbour who sounds like he fits the bill... -

No it’s in Pimlico - I think it was on Calverton st.
Please everyone, look over here
